SpendBee
These Terms govern your use of the SpendBee mobile app. Please read them carefully - they contain important information about subscriptions, disclaimers, and limits on liability.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and ProAppLabs Development Studio Inc. ("ProAppLabs," "we," "our," "us") and govern your access to and use of the SpendBee mobile app and any related websites or services (collectively, the "App"). By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
SpendBee is a behavior-change and budgeting companion that helps you reflect on purchases, set savings goals, and visualize the long-term impact of spending decisions. The App performs simple math on inputs you provide (income, birth year, goal amounts) - it does not connect to your bank, brokerage, or any other financial institution.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You may use the App as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple. Signing in enables cloud backup and sync across your devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may delete your account at any time via Menu > Delete Account.
SpendBee offers a free tier and an optional SpendBee Premium subscription. Premium unlocks unlimited goals, unlimited entries, and access to future premium features. Pricing is shown in-app at the point of purchase and may vary by region.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the price disclosed at purchase unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method (managed by Apple App Store or Google Play) will be charged at confirmation and at each renewal. You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Play Store account, or via Menu > Manage Subscription.
Payments & refunds: All payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not see or store your payment card details. Refund requests are governed by Apple's and Google's respective policies, not by ProAppLabs.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices. Material increases will not take effect for your current billing period and you will be notified before they apply.
Free tier limits: The free tier currently includes up to 2 active goals and a limited number of entries. We may adjust free-tier limits over time.

The App, including its name, logo, mascot, code, design, and content, is owned by ProAppLabs and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
Data you create in the App (your goals, entries, profile inputs) belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to host and process this data solely to provide the App.
SpendBee is not a financial advisor, broker-dealer, investment adviser, or accountant. The App provides a general educational and behavioral tool only. All projections, work-hour conversions, retirement-year estimates, compound-interest illustrations, and savings forecasts are based solely on the inputs you provide and simplified math, with assumptions that will not match real-world conditions.
Nothing displayed in the App is, or should be interpreted as, financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, retirement, insurance, or other professional advice or a recommendation to take any specific action. The App does not consider your personal circumstances, risk tolerance, time horizon, or goals.
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional in your jurisdiction before making any investment, purchase, savings, retirement, or other financial decision. Past performance and projected returns do not guarantee future results.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ProAppLabs disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that calculations or projections shown in the App are accurate or that the App will meet your requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will ProAppLabs, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, savings, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $5.00.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ProAppLabs and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase (sign-in, cloud backup, analytics, crash reporting) and RevenueCat (subscription management). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and ProAppLabs is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support for the App. To the extent there is a conflict between these Terms and an app-store agreement (e.g. Apple's End User License Agreement), the app-store agreement controls only with respect to the matters it covers.
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that we reasonably believe could create liability for us or harm other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted via in-app notice or by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, please stop using the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and ProAppLabs agree that the courts of British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. Nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
